INJECTING STARTUP SPIRIT INTO LARGE ORGANISATIONS

Corporations are hiring entrepreneurs to share skills with their millennials.

Entrepreneurship is part of our DNA. But it can be taught, and teaching the tricks to millennials and other staff is a good part of our mission.

THE BEST STARTUP SPIRIT TALENT FOR INNOVATION

Innovation can be created by everyone but it’s people with startup spirit who makes it happen. We bring innovative talent solutions that will grow the startup spirit in your organisation.

We offer high-quality, flexible talent to tackle important initiatives that require specialised expertise. We have created a global innovation workforce ecosystem.

We manage an ecosystem of independent innovators; entrepreneurs with startup spirit who are motivated by working in different projects and organisations. For innovation, this is especially beneficial as cross-links are made continuously between industries, you benefit from experience and knowledge from other sectors bringing a different approach to solving your problems.

IDEATION

Ideation is the mode of the design process in which you concentrate on idea generation. Mentally it represents a process of ‘going wide’ in terms of concepts and outcomes.

The process where you generate ideas and solutions through sessions such as Sketching, Prototyping, Brainstorming, Brainwriting, Worst Possible Idea, and a wealth of other ideation techniques.

LEAN STARTUP

The Lean Startup method has three key principles:

  • Founders summarise their hypotheses in a framework called a business model canvas.
  • Lean start-ups use a “get out of the building” approach to test their hypotheses. They go out and ask potential users, purchasers, and partners for feedback on all elements of the business model,
  • Lean start-ups practice Agile development hand-in-hand with customer development thus eliminating wasted time and resources by developing the product iteratively and incrementally.

DESIGN THINKING

The method designers use in ideation and development, that also has applications elsewhere. The method describes a human centered, iterative design process consisting of 5 steps:
Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test.

Design thinking is useful in tackling problems that are ill-defined or unknown.

LEAN UX

Lean UX focuses on the experience under design and is less focused on deliverables than traditional UX.

It requires a greater level of collaboration with the entire team.
The core objective is to focus on obtaining feedback as early as possible so that it can be used to make quick decisions.

AGILE

Agile principles are all about being collaborative, flexible and adaptive.

It’s built on the premise that the world now changes regularly, and that means software teams no longer have years to bring new products to market.

RAPID PROTOTYPING

It is a group of techniques used to quickly fabricate a scale model of a physical part or a piece of working software.

PITCHING AN IDEA

In the digital age, there are no borders any more for would-be entrepreneurs.

Whether you find yourself in front of a TV audience of millions, or an angel investor audience of one, a big part of their decision is going to be based on the quality of your presentation, and the people involved.

COACHING / MENTORING

Coaching

The focus of coaching is usually task and performance.
The coach is likely to set or suggest goals for the learner; measuring performance periodically as the learner develops new skills.

Mentoring

The role of the mentor is to build capability. The developmental mentor helps the learner discover their own wisdom by encouraging them to work towards career goals or develop self-reliance.

GROWTH HACKING

This is a process of rapid experimentation across marketing funnel, product development, sales segments, and other areas of the business to identify the most efficient ways to grow a business.
